Consulting Services

Neotec personnel have served as fluid hydraulics and thermal analysis consultants on numerous major and minor oil and gas pipeline and production/injection well projects. Our clients have included oil and gas producing companies, pipeline companies, consulting firms, contracting firms, and government agencies. Geographically, these projects, which involve both onshore and offshore systems, have been widely distributed throughout the major producing areas of the world (a detailed geographic scope is outlined below). Consulting services can involve Neotec personnel in actually performing complete major or minor studies, or in simply assisting clients with performing, or reviewing the results of such studies.

     Neotec Software clients often contract with us to create hydraulic models of their pipelines, wells, or gathering systems which are then turned over to them for subsequent modeling purposes.  This may be due to time constraints or personnel shortages, or they may simply wish to leverage our software knowledge and modeling experience.  Inherent in the creation process for existing systems is a requirement to “tune” the model to reproduce or match field measurements. Culling the data, based on our experience and knowledge of the relative importance of various parameters, is one of our most important contributions to this process.  Outlines of the type of projects undertaken by Neotec are included below.
