The cooperation covers marketing and sales, joint offerings, project execution and technology collaboration.
RSI and SPT Group have agreed on a business cooperation to develop, deliver and support Operator Training Simulators and Online Production Management Solutions for the oil & gas industry.
The cooperation covers marketing and sales, joint offerings, project execution and technology collaboration to develop new products and solutions. It brings together more than 300 dedicated dynamic simulation experts and engineers with extensive experience in flow assurance, process, control, reservoir, drilling, programming and ICT.
SPT Group’s OLGA® multiphase flow simulator is integrated with RSI’s INDISS™ dynamic process simulator and used in combined Engineering and Operator Training Simulators. INDISS™ will also be used for process modelling under SPT Group’s OLGA® Online (edpm®) solution. New integrated solutions will be developed to better achieve lifecycle usage of simulator models and to utilize the synergies between dynamic simulator solutions for design, training, online monitoring and control.
Yves Hervé, RSI’s Sales and Marketing Director, says "RSI is pleased to be working more closely with SPT Group and we believe that there are significant win-win opportunities in the upstream oil and gas market through this cooperation that will greatly benefit our customers".
"RSI fits very well into SPT Group’s partner strategy - actively building the market for integrated solutions for design, training, online monitoring and control", adds Knut Erik Spilling, Senior Vice President for e-Field Solutions in SPT Group.
