Integrated technologyIn our on-going effort to provide our clients with the best-in-class technology and software, Neotec has formed partnerships with key strategic companies, providing our clients with access to proprietary technology, fully and seamlessly integrated into our software products, WELLFO, PIPEFLO, and FORGAS. Inclusion of this additional technology allows our clients to obtain the most accurate results for their various modeling scenarios.
From SPT Group, Norway:OLGAS 2 & 3-phase mechanistic model moduleOLGAS is the steady-state module of OLGA - the world's leading multiphase flow transient simulator. OLGAS calculates the pressure gradient (including frictional, hydrostatic, and kinetic losses), liquid holdup and flow regime at a given point in a pipeline or wellbore. OLGAS serves the same function as correlations such as Beggs and Brill, but is more accurate (Shea et al, 1997), due to its mechanistic models which have been tuned to high pressure, large diameter pipe data. Through a special licensing arrangement, OLGAS is available in all the Neotec software. For further information about OLGAS, OLGA and SPT Group, please contact: www.sptgroup.com
From DBR Oilphase, a division of Schlumberger:Hydrate Prediction analysisDBR, a leader in hydrate prediction analysis, has provided Neotec with integrated technology for hydrate prediction indicators. The technology allows the user of Neotec software to accurately predict the presence or absence of hydrates in your pipeline or well. Enable the hydrate prediction to determine hydrate formation conditions, or to report the locations at which hydrates could form in the well or pipeline, as a function of flowing pressure, temperature and fluid composition. From Virtual Materials Group (VMG):VMG ThermoVMG, a chemical engineering software company headquartered in Calgary, has provided Neotec with an integrated package of equations of state, to accurately predict the presence of liquid and volume of gas and liquid phases at each calculation interval in the wellbore and pipeline. The VMG Thermo package (including a hydrate prediction model) includes proven, validated, and robust thermodynamic models.
